1. Product Overview
Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation boards are high-performance thermal insulation materials widely used in commercial, industrial, and residential applications. With excellent thermal resistance, superior fire behavior, and lightweight yet durable composition, PIR boards are ideal for wall, roof, floor, and HVAC insulation.
2. PIR Insulation Board Features
· Exceptional Thermal Insulation:
Thermal conductivity as low as 0.022–0.026 W/m·K, significantly reducing energy consumption.
· Excellent Fire Performance:
PIR is a thermoset material that forms a char when exposed to flame, slowing the spread of fire and minimizing smoke.
· Dimensional Stability:
Maintains form and structure under temperature fluctuations and long-term load-bearing.
· Moisture Resistance:
Closed-cell foam core prevents water absorption and inhibits mold growth.
· Lightweight and Easy to Install:
Reduces structural load and simplifies transportation and installation.
3. Application Areas
Flat and Pitched Roofs
External Wall Insulation (ETICS)
Cavity Walls
Cold Storage Facilities
Floor Insulation
HVAC Duct Systems
Prefabricated Buildings and Modular Units
Ensure surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
Boards can be cut with a hand saw or insulation knife.
Mechanically fix or bond using PU adhesives or compatible fasteners.
Joints should be tightly butted together; seal gaps with PU foam or insulation tape.
For multi-layer systems, stagger joints to reduce thermal bridging.
Apply facing (aluminum foil, cement fleece, etc.) as required by the application.
Use with a vapor barrier if installed in high-humidity areas or cold storage rooms.
If you’d like a customized version with your branding or tailored to specific applications (e.g., HVAC ducts or roof panels), feel free to let me know!
